The terms that apply when you request a quote or book work with us.
Last updated: 29 July 2026
These terms apply to any quote, booking or work carried out by The London Electrical Compliance Company LLP ("TLECC", "we", "us", "our"), registered office 3rd Floor Suite, 207 Regent Street, London, W1B 3HH.
Company registration number: OC420725 (registered with Companies House as a limited liability partnership). VAT registration number: 286987814. NAPIT membership number: 33734.
Quotes provided through this website, by phone or in person are estimates based on the information available at the time and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. A final fixed price is confirmed in writing before any chargeable work begins. If, once an engineer is on site, the scope of work changes materially from what was described when the quote was given (for example, additional faults are discovered during an EICR), we'll always agree any revised price with you before continuing.
You're responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed appointment time. If our engineer cannot gain access and you haven't given at least 24 hours' notice to rearrange, a reasonable call-out charge may apply.
You may cancel or reschedule a booked appointment free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less notice may be subject to a call-out charge to cover the reserved engineer time.
Where a job includes a statutory certificate or report (for example an EICR, PAT test certificate, or electrical installation certificate), it's issued only once the relevant work has been completed and tested to the applicable edition of the Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) in force at the time. We'll flag any observations or remedial recommendations clearly in the report.
Payment terms are confirmed on your quote or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due on completion of the work, or per any staged payment schedule agreed in advance for larger projects.
All work carried out by TLECC is guaranteed against faulty workmanship for 12 months from the date of completion, in addition to any manufacturer's warranty on parts and materials supplied. This guarantee doesn't cover faults caused by misuse, third-party interference, or pre-existing issues outside the agreed scope of work.
We carry public liability insurance appropriate to the work we undertake. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability for any claim arising from the work is limited to the value of the relevant job.
If you're unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us using the details below so we can put it right. As a NAPIT-registered business, you may also have access to NAPIT's independent complaints and dispute resolution procedure if we're unable to resolve a complaint directly.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
